Masar project continued to operate, through a long-term service system of up to 100 years to come, with a completion rate of 70%.

The project aims to improve the quality of life in Makkah and to improve services for pilgrims and Umrah visitors, according to the Al Arabiya Channel.

 

The project is located on an area of million and 200,000 square meters, and has a path of 3600 square meters connecting the Makkah and Jeddah Highway line directly to Al Haram.

 

Approximately 3226 properties were dispossessed with compensation amounting to 10 billion rials in 6 slums surrounding the site. The project consists of a 3650-square-metre track, 206 investment, real estate and residential plots, 82 apartment buildings, 42 3-to- 4-star hotels, 16 5-star hotels and 6 miscellaneous service plots: public education, health and security facilities.

 

The project also includes commercial malls, restaurants, green spaces, 5,000 parking lots serving the people of the region, as well as infrastructure, including 4 public service tunnels and 2 main streets linking the route to the Makkah and bridges associated with access to Makkah, 367,000 square metres of road network and 157,000 open areas including gardens.
